Who do we teach and where?

We teach relevant, useful, real Chinese to complete beginners or intermediate and advanced level students.

You can learn individually or in small group classes, at home, on site at your organisation or at one of our convenient locations around London. We also design and run bespoke corporate training programmes to precisely match your organisational needs.

You can also arrange to top up your tuition online (using Skype) with one of the many teachers in our Meridian online network.

Who does the teaching and how are the courses taught?

All our classes are taught using a combination of senior level tutors and several teaching assistants—all of whom speak good English and have years of experience teaching native English speakers—so every student benefits from lots of personal attention.

We use our own textbooks including “The Tao of Chinese Grammar” and the “Zoom In Mandarin” books combined with the pioneering TDR™ teaching method.

We use various other unique Meridian tools and materials to bring the classes to life and help students practise what they learn.

What will you learn?

You’ll learn (or improve) your core skills of speaking, listening/understanding, reading and writing Mandarin Chinese.

Each course has a different emphasis on these skills and private tuition or corporate training can be tailored to specific needs. All our lessons are infused with cultural insights and experiences that make them the next best thing to learning Mandarin in China!
